One Year Later.......

Wow has time flown by. On Febuary 22nd, 2008 our small family was created. And this weekend we celebrated our first anninversary together. It still seems like yesterday that we got married. I can hardly belive that its been a year now. For a few weeks now we had been planning our weekend. However those plans kinda got sidetracked with the excitement of buying a house. We did still go out and have a lot of fun.

Since our Anniversary fell on a Sunday this year we decided to celebrate it on Friday and Saturday. Friday day we both had to work but once we got off our night would soon be starting. We headed to Salt Lake for dinner. We decided a few months ago that we would go to the Rodizio Grill at Trolley square. If you have never been there before I highly recommend trying it. It was so good and I loved it. I must warn you though that its also pretty pricey. But it is very worth the price. I wouldn't mind going again. But that won't be anytime soon.

We also decided to stay the night in Salt Lake. However Kiera had no Idea where we would be staying at. I wanted this to be a suprise for her. So after looking at all the nice local Hotels I finally decided on the one where we stayed our first night as a married couple. The Little America. Once again it was just as nice as last year as we once again got a room on the top floor of the tower over looking the city. This year we also got to the hotel soon enough where we had time to go play in the pool and hot tub. It was very nice and relaxing to get away from everything and just be with one another like we were on our wedding night.

On Saturday after we checked out of our hotel we stopped for lunch at the same place we did after leaving the hotel last year. The Taco Time right around the corner. Then after that we headed up to Park City to go look at the Factory stores. We also stopped at the Gateway on the way back thru to Layton and did some shopping there too. After a small dinner at home we ended our night by going to see the movie "He's just not that into you". I figured since the last time we went to the movie together we saw a guy movie (the dark knight) we would go to a chick flick this time. I was suprised though the movie wasn't too bad.

So now sunday. The day we actually we got married. What excitement did the day have in store for us. Well unfortuanatly a whole lot of nothing. After going to church to teach our Primary class I then had to work the rest of the night. Kiera was nice enough though to come spend the most of the night with me and bring me dinner though. Pretty exciting Anniversary huh. But I guess thats why we did what we did on Friday and Saturday.
